Other signs and symptoms of Ulcerative colitis are Anorexia, Weight loss, Anaemia, Progressive weakness, Abdominal tenderness, and Distension with Fever. Endoscopically Ulcerative colitis (UC) have Continuous, shallow ulcers leading to disturbed bowel movements.

Crohn’s Disease is inflammatory condition of whole gastrointestinal track from mouth to anus. aphthous ulcers (sore mouth), Abdominal pain and discomfort, diarrhoea (sometimes stool is bloody), fever, and weight loss, anaemia, tiredness are symptoms of Crohn’s disease. Unlike ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease affects gastric mucosa in patches with deep ulcers.

Fissures and fistula formation is common in Crohn’s disease. Persistent vomiting and nausea may appear when Crohn’s disease complicate as small bowel obstruction or stenosis of small intestine.
